How to schedule and communicate upcoming maintenance windows.
Proactively communicating scheduled maintenance is crucial for minimizing disruption for your users.
Scheduling a Maintenance Window

Navigate to your Status Page
Go to the specific status page where you want to schedule maintenance.

Schedule Maintenance
Click on the “Schedule Maintenance” button.

Fill in Maintenance Details
- Title: A clear title for the maintenance (e.g., “Database Upgrade”).
- Description: A detailed message explaining what the maintenance involves and what impact users can expect.
- Start Time & Date: When the maintenance window will begin.
- End Time & Date: When the maintenance is expected to be completed.

Affected Components
Select the components that will be affected during the maintenance.

Schedule
Click “Schedule” to post the maintenance window to your status page. Your subscribers will be notified in advance.
Updating a Maintenance Window
If plans change, you can update the maintenance window.
- Go to the scheduled maintenance event on your status page dashboard.
- You can update the title, description, and times.
- You can also post updates as the maintenance progresses, for example, when it starts and when it is completed.
Users will be notified of any changes to the scheduled maintenance times.
